Victory Pushes Legends Record to 25-24
Eric Barter had a good game, but he could not keep the Calgary Outlaws from falling, 9-5, to the Saskatoon Legends at Ballpark of Red Deer College. The Calgary left fielder went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice in the loss. At 25-24, the Legends claim first place in the Lester B. Person League West Division.

Walt Chartrand had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Saskatoon. With the bases loaded and the Legends leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"It was a solid team effort," Chartrand said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
