Trois-Rivieres Saints starter Todd Lewis turned in a top-notch performance against the Saskatoon Legends at Ballpark of Red Deer College. The result was a win for the Saints, 7-1. Even with the win, the Saints have a dismal 15-33 record.

Trois-Rivieres used the clutch hitting of Kevin Woodford to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Saints ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Saints manager Jorge Ayala, "I like our chances."
