Crowley hits 15th home run, Supercharges Stars Offense
The Niagara Stars stormed past the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 13-6, at Drummondville College Grounds. Niagara first basemanLeland Crowley , who is tied for 5th in the LBL with a .791 slugging percentage, led the hit parade. He went 2-3 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Earl McSwain picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Brandon Hyde, who leads the LBL in complete games with 1, was tagged with the loss. So far in 2062, Niagara is 33-15.

Bill Bandelow had a big bases-clearing double for the Stars in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Niagara leading 5-2 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from John Richard and swatted a double to left. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stars ahead, 8-2.

"We maximized our offense today," said Niagara skipper Danny Stuessy. "That makes everyone's life easier."
