Kelowna third baseman Camden McLean had a big day at Blue Wings Ballpark today against the Trois-Rivieres Saints. The 22-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Heat to a 11-2 triumph over Trois-Rivieres.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," McLean said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Camden McLean singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Dan Swedlove in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.

McLean is currently batting .341 with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 44 at-bats.
