Niagara catcher Justin Miller played a vital role in his team's 9-8 triumph over Trois-Rivieres. He went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Niagara. The Stars now have a record of 20-26 with the win over Trois-Rivieres.

Miller had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a 0-1 fastball from Bernie Casey, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Stars a 9-8 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Miller.
