Kelowna Drops Another One, 6-4
|
Trois-Rivieres starter Rick Rielly pitched effectively against the Kelowna Heat at Brantford College Grounds. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-4. The Heat, at 13-32, have lost 7 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Trois-Rivieres, had it not been for Fred Dempsey, the 22-year old left fielder . Dempsey contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Trois-Rivieres up, 6-0.
"Rick's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Trois-Rivieres manager Gilberto Chávez.
