The Montreal Royales marched over the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 12-3, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Frank Haydon led the charge. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Roger Southcott, who is tied for 3rd in the LBL in quality starts with 4, was the winner. He's now 5-1. The loser was Stu Carnell. The loss makes Trois-Rivieres 21-23.

With Montreal trailing 3-2 in the top of the fourth, Haydon hit a changeup from Stu Carnell for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Royales ahead, 4-3.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Montreal manager Jon Miron.
