Blue Jays Improve to 92-9 with 9-6 Win
The Blue Jays kept their hot streak going.

Aiken first baseman Tyler Walker had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Walker went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, even as Toronto beat the Thoroughbreds, 9-6. The win went to Sergio Reyes in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Ruben Garcia took the loss. Sean Meloche closed it out for his 3rd save.

Toronto used the clutch hitting of Brian Ruddock to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Blue Jays the lead, 9-6. For the game, Ruddock had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We'll keep riding this wave," said Ruddock.

Now 92-9, the Blue Jays have won 14 in a row.
