The Kelowna Heat went down to defeat to Edmund Palmer and his Niagara teammates. The final score was 3-0 in favor of the Stars. The third-place Stars have won 4 consecutive games.

The Stars got a big boost from right fielder Jack Dumont who had a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning off Heat hurler Danny Barnaby. It was his 5th home run of the season and put Niagara on top, 1-0.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Dumont.
