Victoria played host to London at the friendly confines of Ballpark of Chilliwack College.

Victoria right-hander Max Joly made an effective start against the London Monarchs at Ballpark of Chilliwack College, leading his team to a 8-1 win. At 22-15, the Capitals are currently second in the Lester B. Person League West Division.

Victoria first baseman Jerry Gaudet helped the Capitals to the win. In the bottom of the fifth inning, the 20-year old right-handed pitcher stroked a 3-run home run. For the game, Gaudet went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

Said losing manager Edward Carr: "Give the Capitals credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
