Rattray goes 3-for-5 to Light Stars Fuse
The Niagara Stars welcomed the Montreal Royales to an afternoon game at Eliminators Ballpark.

Behind the bravura of right fielder Steve Rattray, the Niagara Stars topped the Montreal Royales by the score of 16-7. Rattray went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Stars. The win belonged to Lou Holman in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Luke Hawkins took the loss for Montreal.

Niagara needed the clutch hitting of Ben Horton to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Stars on top, 8-6. For the game, Horton had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Horton told the Niagara Today. "It's as simple as that."

Niagara now has a record of 27-10 with the win.
