The Ft. Worth Werewolves defeated the San Carlos Pipers in 14 innings, 8-7, in part because of left fielder Ruben Rivera. Rivera was 4-6 with 4 singles, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Werewolves. Steve Davila notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record now sits at 2-2.
