The Toronto Blue Jays used the hitting of pinch hitter Ken Currie to subdue the Springfield Sentries, 8-5. For the game, Currie went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Now 89-9, the Blue Jays have won 11 games in a row.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Blue Jays grabbed the lead when Currie hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Danny Carabello made it 8-5, Toronto.
