Rattlers Suffer 8-0 Loss to River Falls
|
The Mojave Rattlers had to reckon with River Falls Falcons hurler Edwin Barragan. Barragan, who leads the TLA with a 11.7 K/9 rate, overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-0 Falcons triumph. Nestor Salas recorded his 1st save for River Falls. The Rattlers, at 37-61, have lost 4 in a row.
The Falcons got a big hit from center fielder Harry Erdahl. Facing Mojave pitcher Steve Spriet in the bottom of the seventh, Erdahl pounded a bases-clearing triple to right. His 1st triple of the season put the Falcons ahead, 7-0.
Said losing manager Jimmy Bernard: "We need to play with more of an edge."
