Victory Over Outlaws Takes Victoria to 21-12
Victoria right-hander Arnie Barnard pitched his team to victory over the Calgary Outlaws at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. The final score was 5-3. Getting the save was Jerry Gaudet, his 3rd. The Capitals have an impressive 21-12 record.

The Capitals benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the fourth. With Joe Aastrom at bat and Victoria leading 2-0, the Calgary miscue allowed Victoria to plate 2 and take the lead, 4-0.
