The Aiken Thoroughbreds got production from their entire lineup in an easy 19-3 win over the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics. Doing his part was center fielder Chris Overdorf. Overdorf went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Jose Marrero was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Alfredo Mejia. The Thoroughbreds, at 73-24, have a comfortable 36-game lead in their division.

Jose Moreno had a big 2-run double for the Thoroughbreds in the bottom of the third inning. With Aiken trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Alfredo Mejia and swatted a double to right. It was his 23rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thoroughbreds ahead, 2-1.

"They licked us pretty good," said losing manager Javier Medina.
