Losing Streak Continues for Stars with 8-1 Loss to Capitals
The Victoria Capitals topped the Niagara Stars, 8-1, in CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE action at Drummondville College Grounds. The player of the game was Victoria pitcher Paul Jewers. Niagara now has a 8-game losing streak.

Also pitching in was Victoria right fielder Brett Mallett, who hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, Mallett was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
