6-4 Win by Legends Continues Hot Start
A 3-RBI performance from center fielder Dan Peckford, who is tied for 4th in the LBL in hits with 39, led the Saskatoon Legends to a 6-4 win over the Kelowna Heat. The first-place Legends now have a 5-game winning streak.

The Legends got an important contribution from second baseman Clyde Ledrew, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 3-1 fastball into left for a 2-run single. It was his 29th hit of the season and put the Legends ahead, 3-1.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ledrew. "And not try to do too much."
