Niagara Gets 6-5 Road Win
Steve Rattray was a major factor in the 6-5 Niagara win over Trois-Rivieres. The Stars right fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. Reliever Dennis Heath picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Jeremy Way took the loss. Carl Ball earned his 10th save, after closing out the game.

Bill Bandelow, who is tied for 6th in the LBL in triples with 1, helped out the Niagara cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.

"We found a way to get it done," Bandelow said.

Niagara now has a record of 16-8 with the win.
