The Victory Lakes Crawfish picked up a win at Crawfish Grounds, knocking off the San Carlos Pipers, 3-2, in 11 innings. Starting pitcher Cris Cantu played a key role in the triumph. Victory Lakes reliever John Doughty picked up the win to move to 1-3. Omar Moreno suffered the loss. The setback makes San Carlos 17-76.

The Crawfish got a clutch hit from second baseman Sean Lang. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Crawfish.

San Carlos manager Chris Santacroce said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
