The Tulsa Titans withstood an impressive performance by Arlington catcher Jack Harrigan to defeat the Stars, 7-6, at Titans Park. Harrigan was 3-6 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Danny Canales picked up the win in relief. Steve Naughton took the loss for Arlington. The 5th-place Titans are now 50-45, the Stars 37-57.

Josh Borga went 1-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Tulsa. The 19-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Luis Barreras. It was his 71st RBI of the season.

Borga said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
