|
The game between Royal Oak and Saint John is in the books, despite a little rain.
Royal Oak catcher Josh Curtis made his presence felt in the 4-2 Leprechauns triumph over the Saint John Alpines. Curtis was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The win makes Royal Oak 42-50.
Matt Cox hit a run-scoring triple off Luis Palacios in the top of the eighth, which put the Leprechauns in front, 2-1. Cox had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.
