Legends Fall Short, 5-4, at London
|
London designated hitter Harry Collette was instrumental in his team's 5-4 win over the Saskatoon Legends. Collette, who is rated as the 79th best prospect by BNN, went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Monarchs. Bill Feightner was called on to finish, recording his 5th save. London has now won 5 games in a row.
Collette went 2 for 3 with 2 triples. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 against the Legends. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that scored 1 and put London in front, 5-4.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Collette.
