Spirited fans greeted the Calgary Outlaws for their clash with the Victoria Capitals.

Capitals catcher Herb Dower put his stamp on his team's 15-6 win over the Calgary Outlaws. Dower went 1 for 3 with a home run and 3 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Victoria in the contest. Dave Crippen claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 1-0.

The Capitals got a gift in the top of the third inning, when they were leading 5-3. With two out and the bases loaded, Alex Kerr reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 6-3, Victoria.

"We came out aggressive," said Capitals manager Chris Riddle. "We came out swinging the bats."

The second-place Capitals have won 4 straight games.
