Due in large part to catcher Chris Edwards, the Trois-Rivieres Saints sunk the Saskatoon Legends, 8-5. Edwards was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The save went to Greg Pond, his 2nd this season. The Saints go to 5-10 with the win.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bill Leblanc? The Trois-Rivieres right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Saints on top, 2-0. For the game, Leblanc had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
