The Niagara Stars withstood an impressive performance by Kelowna first baseman Bob Moraine to defeat the Heat, 7-2, at Drummondville College Grounds. Moraine went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. The Stars boast a remarkable 12-2 record.

Steve Rattray had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Niagara. With the bases loaded and the Stars leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Rattray told the Niagara Today.
