Victory Over Saints Takes Montreal to 8-5
The Montreal Royales beat the Trois-Rivieres Saints, 4-1, at Blue Wings Ballpark. The Royales got a fine performance from shortstop Lou Behan, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Royales, at 8-5, lead by one game in their division.

Behan came through with some timely hitting for Montreal. With the score 0-0 in the top of the third and one down, Behan hit a 1-0 splitter for a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season made it 2-0, Montreal.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Montreal manager Kamatari Inoue. "It's usually not just one thing."
