Rickett Hits Two Dingers, Leprechauns Win, 12-6
The Royal Oak Leprechauns cut down the Saint John Alpines by the score of 12-6, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Ryan Rickett. Rickett hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 7 for the Leprechauns. Royal Oak pitcher Antonio Garcia got the win. He's now 1-1. Pedro Velez was tagged with the loss. By defeating Saint John, the last-place Leprechauns improved to 41-49.
