Blue Wings Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Trois-Rivieres Saints and Saskatoon Legends.

The Trois-Rivieres Saints got a superb performance from pitcher Bill Pederson, but the Saskatoon Legends still won the game, 4-3. Pederson was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 9 innings allowing 4 runs. Jeremiah Roche was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. Don Spotton locked down his 3rd save.

An important at-bat for the Legends came in the top of the fourth, when first baseman Zander Crawley stroked a 2-run single. That made the score 4-0 in favor of Saskatoon. For the day, Crawley was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"This was a good win," said Crawley.

Saskatoon, now 5-3, has played well in the early going.
