The Saints had to overcome a good performance from Kelowna pitcher Matt Pahomes to claim a 4-3 win at Brantford College Grounds. Pahomes went 9 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Bernie Casey closed the door for Trois-Rivieres, picking up his 2nd save of the year. The Saints, now 4-2, have been playing some good baseball.

An important at-bat for the Saints came in the top of the sixth, when left fielder Stan Southorn stroked a 2-run home run. That made the score 4-2 in favor of Trois-Rivieres. For the day, Southorn went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We found a way to get it done," Southorn said.
