The Saskatoon Legends went down to defeat to Max Schanowski and his Kelowna teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Heat. In 6.2 innings, Schanowski surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. The save went to Carter Yeo, his 1st this season.

The Heat got a big at-bat from catcher Craig Howse, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Heat on top, 2-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Howse said.
