Saints Bang Out 11-6 Win Versus Kelowna
The Trois-Rivieres Saints beat the Kelowna Heat, 11-6, at Blue Wings Ballpark. Bob Pyke went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The 22-year old center fielder was a menace to Kelowna all day. The loss puts Kelowna at 0-3.

Fred Dempsey had a big grand slam home run for the Saints in the bottom of the third inning. With Trois-Rivieres leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Shayne Woodroffe and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Saints ahead, 9-4.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Dempsey.
