Stars Post 5-2 Win Over Victoria
|
Niagara got a strong outing from Tom Conrad as the Stars defeated the Victoria Capitals, 5-2, at Ballpark of Chilliwack College. Carl Ball earned the save, his 1st. The victory makes Niagara 2-0.
Making an impact for Niagara was left fielder Bill Bandelow. He drilled a double off Al Shnairson in the top of the first. For the game, Bandelow was 1-4 with a double and a walk.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Niagara manager Danny Stuessy. "It's usually not just one thing."
