Salukis Pick Up 5-4 Win Against Clemson
The South Illinois Salukis knocked off the Clemson Tigers, 5-4, in Skip Bertman League action at Field of the Shield. South Illinois pitcher and Anchorage, Alaska, native Bret Naughton had an outstanding performance. With the win over Clemson, the Salukis improved to 30-16.

Bobby Krebsbach dealt the Tigers a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and South Illinois leading 4-0, Krebsbach hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Clemson manager Jordan Leonard.
