Werewolves Suffer 5-1 Home Loss
Martinsburg starter Jorge Arias kept the Ft. Worth offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the Maulers to a 5-1 win. The win for the Maulers raised their record to 51-34.

Martinsburg used a well-timed hit by Nick DeAngelo to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Maulers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm happy we won," said Arias. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
