A good performance from right fielder Rafael Guevara helped the Media Luna Marlins defeat the Royal Oak Leprechauns, 10-9. Guevara was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Marlins. Emmanuel Toro, now 4-4, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. The Marlins raised their record to 45-40.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Media Luna trailing 9-6, Guevara jumped on a curveball from 17-year old right-handed pitcher Fernando Abrego and hit a grand slam home run to left-center. With one swing, the Marlins had a walk-off win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Guevara said.
