The South Mississippi Golden Eagles defeated the Arizona Wildcats, 17-1, at Ballpark of Storm Lake College. South Mississippi was led by 21-year old second baseman Josh McGarity, who was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. South Mississippi has 3 straight wins, Arizona 5 straight losses.
