Christy 3-for-4 as Bulldogs Squash Titans
The Mississippi State Bulldogs used an offensive barrage to beat the Cal State Fullerton Titans, 15-2, at Crowley College Grounds. Josh Christy led the way, going 3-for-4 for Mississippi State. Gilbert Chiaretti came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 4-0. The defeat makes Cal State Fullerton 21-24.

With Mississippi State leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Christy hit a fastball from Chris Morris for a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Bulldogs ahead, 7-2.

"Well, that game was a dud," said losing manager Scott Heck.
