5-3 Ducks Win over Owls Evens Season Record
|
Oregon left fielder Roberto Castillo was instrumental in his team's 5-3 win over the Rice Owls. Castillo, who is tied for 6th in the RDL with a .348 batting average, went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Ducks. The losing streak for Rice has now reached 4 games.
Castillo had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Ducks went on to win.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Castillo.
