The Alabama Crimson Tide knocked off the Indiana State Sycamores, 7-6, at Titans Ballpark. Jason Robinson, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Alabama won. The second baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ben Thompson got the win, improving to 2-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 2 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. The Crimson Tide' win now puts them at 18-26.
Josh Cadwallader chipped in for Alabama with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Robinson told the Alabama Daily.
