Aggies Snatch Late Win
The Texas A&M Aggies beat the California Golden Bears, 3-2. Texas A&M pitcher and Jordan, Minnesota, native Scott Elliott led the way. Texas A&M reliever Kyle Watkins got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Mike Brooks was tagged with the loss. Texas A&M, at 25-18, occupies 8th place in the Cliff Gustafson.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Texas A&M second baseman Matt Pitterle, facing Greg Bianchini, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Aggies the 3-2 win.

"Scott gave us a really strong effort," said Texas A&M manager Mubale Kweli.
