|
The Surrey Thunderbirds defeated the Mojave Rattlers, 6-3, in RCL LA action at Rattlers Field. Surrey pitcher Jack Reiss had a standout performance. Surrey is second in the RCL LA West Division with a record of 54-27.
Dave Park delivered a big hit for Surrey. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Thunderbirds ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Reiss.
