Wolverines Rally to Win

The Michigan Wolverines handed the Kansas Jayhawks a 4-3 defeat at Siege Ballpark. First Baseman Joe Harris starred for Michigan. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Michigan sits in third place in the Ron Fraser Division at 29-14.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Michigan trailing 3-2, Harris jumped on a fastball from fireballing right-hander Steve Marasco and hit a 2-run home run to center. With one swing, the Wolverines had a walk-off win.
"No one can call baseball boring," said Wolverines manager Shane Saucier. "Not after a game like that."
