Led by 21-year-old George Deisinger, the Oklahoma Sooners downed the Auburn Tigers, 8-6. Deisinger went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Oklahoma. The first-place Sooners now have a win-loss record of 33-10.

With Oklahoma leading 4-1 in the top of the fourth, Deisinger hit a curveball from Chad Maciag for a grand slam home run. It was his 22nd home run of the season and put the Sooners ahead, 8-1.

"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," Deisinger told the Oklahoma Times.
