Royal Oak Triumphs with Late Surge
River Falls wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Alejandro Munoz, falling to the Royal Oak Leprechauns, 4-1. Munoz threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Fernando Abrego closed the door for Royal Oak, picking up his 6th save of the year. The last-place Leprechauns now sit at 38-40.

Royal Oak won the game in part because of Casey Hopper. The catcher ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Leprechauns ahead, 4-1. For the game, Hopper had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I like what I saw today," said Royal Oak manager Garrett Williams, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
