Coles Helps Rebels Run Win Streak to 3
The Ole Miss Rebels beat the Baylor Bears, 10-3, at Ballpark of Wrightsville College. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter John Coles, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winner was Cody DeSota, who threw 74 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 3 hits. Ole Miss has now won 3 in a row.

The Rebels got a big at-bat from right fielder Bobby Roquet. For the game, Roquet was 1 for 3 with a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Ole Miss a 2-1 lead.
