Starting pitcher Kuniyasu Inouye pitched well enough to help the Ft. Worth Werewolves beat the Kingston Beats, 8-3. Inouye got the win, improving to 6-5. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Today's win puts Ft. Worth at 30-45, while Kingston falls to 22-55.

The Werewolves got a big hit from second baseman Gil Santos. Facing Kingston pitcher Jose Mendez in the top of the sixth, Santos pounded a grand slam home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Werewolves ahead, 8-0.
