Brindamour Goes Off, But Titans Win
The Cal State Fullerton Titans withstood a fine game by Fresno State center fielder Josh Brindamour at Brooks College Grounds, to upend the Bulldogs, 10-9. Brindamour hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Matt Albright nailed down his 6th save. Cal State Fullerton is now 19-22.

Cal State Fullerton needed the clutch hitting of Chris Pals to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Titans on top, 10-8. For the game, Pals had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"Good win for us," said Pals. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
