Thornton Leads Razorbacks to 11-5 Win Over Tigers
The Arkansas Razorbacks defeated the Clemson Tigers, 11-5, at Ramparts Ballpark. Arkansas second baseman John Thornton had a superb performance. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The setback makes Clemson 15-25.

Jared Pytlak had a big 2-run double for the Razorbacks in the bottom of the first inning. With Arkansas leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Pat Alexander and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Razorbacks ahead, 3-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Thornton told the Arkansas News.
