Driver Slugs Buckeyes to 10-6 Win
At Ballpark of Bloomfield College, the South Carolina Gamecocks and Ohio State Buckeyes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Ohio State Buckeyes topped the South Carolina Gamecocks by a score of 10-6. Leading the way was designated hitter Justin Driver. Driver hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 for the Buckeyes. Ohio State pitcher Dashawn Thorne earned the win, hiking his record to 4-0. Maurice Washington suffered the loss.

David Thompson helped out the Ohio State cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Driver.

With the victory, the Buckeyes upped their record to 24-15.
