The Baylor Bears grabbed a win, 16-11, over the Oregon State Beavers at Wolverines Stadium. Baylor left fielder Jesse Lewis slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6. Ryan Ostrander came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. Picking up the save was David Krivak, his 2nd.

The Bears got a big hit from first baseman Jeremy Love. In the bottom of the seventh, Love smacked a grand slam home run off Oregon State pitcher Mike Atkins. It was his 4th home run of the season. Suddenly, the Bears were ahead, 12-11.

"Good win for us," said Love. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
