Perez Mashes 2 Homers in 7-6 Rancho Win
|
Vinny Perez batted in 4 runs to lead Rancho to a win over Saint John. The final score was 7-6. Perez chipped in 1 single and 2 home runs. The win has Rancho at 12-56.
Perez had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-1 fastball from Xavier Castro, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Cucamonga a 7-6 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Perez.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Perez told the Rancho Daily News.
