Indiana State got a terrific game from center fielder Jordan Davi. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Oklahoma, 5-3. Davi was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Oklahoma reliever Scott Willis picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Logan Talmadge took the loss. Zach Sutton got the save, the 10th for him this season.

Oklahoma took advantage of an error in the top of the fifth inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Tyler Elmore hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Oklahoma in front, 4-3.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Elmore. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Oklahoma now sits in 19th place in the Ron Fraser Division at 16-22.
